A Third God
Dromadaes and Matunas are the neutral evil and neutral good Gods of Dromaria, respectively. A third God, Gromath, personally oversaw the creation and evolution of a second large continent. Gromath is largely neutral in nature and wanted the continent to grow without any outside influences. Dromadaes, Matunas, and Gromath decided that the new area should be concealed from everyone else. This included shielding it from other Gods and mortals. Only these three Gods know when this shielded continent was created but the Bardic Schools assume it is as old as the plane itself.
Since Gromath had a personal influence in the continent’s growth, his presence was mostly unheard of by mortal ears. The new continent had some sentient life but it was not nearly as complex as the life in Ania and Blarek. Gromath decided it was time to allow the other inhabitants of the world access to his creation. Several mages were handpicked and tasked with providing the mortal realm a simple map to navigate the new lands. It would be months before access was allowed which gave the larger cities time to claim rights to the new land and speculate on how they would travel there.
Gromath created the land allowing travel magic. Before the unveiling, Gromath severely limited the use of travel magic over long distances but told no one about this plan. This caused many adventurers to travel to remote locations expecting an easy return. Some returned successfully while most perished in the wilderness. The high mages of Blarek disliked this limitation and devised an altered system of travel magic for use on the new continent. This new system did not come without its own limitations.
